George Heitmanis is a the CEO if Heitmanis Law and an experienced trial attorney, representing individuals, corporations and municipalities before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. He has litigated matters involving civil rights, land use, zoning, tax, banking matters, real estate and real estate syndication, criminal, labor, financial transactions and pension law issues. In addition, Mr. Heitmanis is involved in the governmental pension law area, which requires him to work closely with the firm’s tax, corporate and securities law groups. Mr. Heitmanis was appointed by the State Attorney General in 2003 to serve the citizens of Macomb County as a Public Administrator. As a Public Administrator, Mr. Heitmanis represents the state in certain probate matters, and is frequently appointed by the court as a guardian, conservator and personal representative in estates where a professional advocate or fiduciary is needed. He currently resides in St. Clair Shores and is a former member of the Harper Woods Building Authority and Police Support Unit.
